Q:Can you travel easily with this? Airline travel?

A:

Yes. I love how easy it is to fold up. I took it through security and then gate checked it. It fits through the scanner when you are going through security. It was nice to have when we landed to plop the baby in. I adore this stroller!

Q:Can you fit a toddler JJ Cole BundleMe on this stroller?

A:

No

Q:Do you have to remove the canopy to use an infant seat with this stroller?

A:

No. The canopies on the stroller and on the infant seat both fold back and remain intact.

Q:Amazon description says this item weighs 8.6lbs. Is it really so light or it’s a typo??

A:

Their web site shows it as 16.8 pounds

Q:Is the material washable

A:

Not sure about that . We have been using it for couple of months now .we always use wipes to clean it up .

Q:Is the City Mini Single Stroller compatible with the Britax B-Safe car seat?

A:

Yes, but you have to buy the adapter.

Q:Has anyone used the stroller with the glider board.?

A:

Yes. The glider board is a nice attachment. The only issue is child height. If yours is tall its not that comfortable for them and then for you to push.

Q:Can the stroller be folded once the seat has been removed? I would love to remove the seat (for more under space) while using the car seat adapter

A:

I don’t believe the seat can be removed. If you are looking for better basket storage and access then check out Baby Jogger City Select. It’s more expensive but the storage basket is much larger, easily accessible and you can remove the seat while you are using a car seat, plus this stroller can convert to a double. I love the City Mini because it’s small, lightweight and super easy to fold but the storage basket is too small and hard to access.

Q:Does this lock when you fold it, so it doesn’t slide open?

A:

Yes it does lock and doesn’t slide open but there is no stand so you have rest it onto something.

Q:How is the “tip over” factor if your child is not sitting in it, can you still hang a backpack or purse on the handle without it tipping over?

A:

Absolutely not. It tipped over more than any stroller I’ve used. If you hang it on the side you shouldn’t have a problem… but I had a skip hop diaper bag that hooked across the handle and that didn’t work at all

Q:Can a newborn/infant ride in the stroller without a separate attachment?

A:

I wouldn’t recommend for a newborn, or until 6 months

Q:Is there a glider board that is compatible with this stroller?

A:

Yes there is. You have to purchase separately.

Q:does this model have the lever for recline?

A:

It’s a strap in the back that you loosen. It reclines almost completely flat.

Q:What kind of material is the stroller made? fabric? Isn´t it hot for the baby?

A:

I don’t think it will be hot, but the summer it’s just beginning here in Boston

Q:Hi! Does this model come with a bassinet?

A:

No, only the cart.

Q:Does it have a cup holder on the top?

A:

No, I purchased an add on cup holder accessory.

Q:is there any big difference between the 3 wheel and 4 wheel?

A:

Mainly the weight. We were originally really interested in the 4-wheel version as we thought that it would provide a little bit of extra stability. But be careful, even though Amazon has the two versions listed at the same weight (16.8 lbs) that is definitely incorrect. Take a look at the baby jogger website for the correct weight listings. The 4-wheel is actually 19.9 lbs – quite a lot heavier. If a lightweight stroller is what you are looking for then consider that those few extra pounds are significant. We love our 3-wheeler and have never felt that it is unstable.

Q:Is the canopy all black or black and gray?

A:

Black and gray. We have the all purple model and the canopy is purple and gray as well.

Q:Is this stroller really 8.6 lbs? The Baby Jogger City “Lite” weighs 16 lbs per the description and this one says “8.6”. Wanted to confirm. Thanks!

A:

No, every other color option for this item is listed as 16.8 which is more like the correct weight. Looks like a typo on the black version. 8.6 lbs would be great for a stroller this nice, but 16.8 lbs is still pretty lightweight. We love ours!

Q:can you jog with this stroller?

A:

It’s not a jogging stroller, the name “Jogger” is a brand however there’s jogging stroller with this brand. Just to note also there are times when I’m late, I tend to run/jog and it works great but you can’t push it because it wasn’t made for jogging…

Q:When can I start using this stroller? Is it ok for a newborn?

A:

I would recommend around 6 months unless you get a infant car seat adapter as an accessory for this. The seat reclines almost flat but the straps would be really loose on a newborn. We ended up getting a Graco Snap N Go (Fold N Go?) type stroller frame for infant car seats instead. It was about the same price as an infant attachment until the city mini was used. Also if your baby is asleep in the car carrier you will want to keep them that way vs. transferring to separate stroller seat. Once the car carrier is phased out this is an amazing stroller …. easy to fold and lift and a nice big…

Q:What kind of wheels does it have?

A:

I dont know what do you mean with that. If you mean how many, it have two big rear wheels and two On front.

Q:How is this better than other standard strollers if it doesn’t have parent and child tray or other utilitarian features?

A:

I think it’s the easiest stroller to maneuver.
It closes and opens so easily. And you can buy all the attachments separately.

Q:How does the City Mini do on graveled trails and parking lots (mostly flat, pressed gravel) as opposed to the Mini GT?

A:

I can’t compare the two models I’m afraid as I only have the City Mini. I would say this is primarily an urban stroller designed for pavement. It has little or no suspension and small solid wheels. On gravel it is going to do better than some basic lightweight strollers, and if it is just occasional use on gravel or the gravel is well pressed, it could be fine. But if you are looking for something to take out on regular hikes on trails then I would recommend a stroller with more suspension and inflatable tires instead. We absolutely love our City Mini, but we have an off-road stroller as well.

Q:Hi, please advise warranty as well as the type of adaptor that we would have to purchase to use a Maxi Cosi Calibrio seat with it. Thanks!

A:

Easy to use with good quality

Q:does the chicco fit key 30 fit?

A:

Yes

Q:Can it fit in a full size suitcase

A:

No

Q:What is the difference between the 2013 and 2014 CM? If it’s just cosmetic I will go with the model that’s nearly $100 less

A:

I’ve played with the 2014 model a little, other than the logo, I do not notice a difference at all. 🙂

Q:How does this stroller work on roads and side walks?

A:

yes it works very well

Q:Do you need a car seat adapter for the City Mini if you have the Chicco KeyFit 30 car seat?

A:

Yes, you need one no matter what.

Q:What is the make year of this item ?

A:

2014

Q:Is it ok for an infant?

A:

Yes, I used with my 3 month old daughter. It doesn’t recline completely flat, but it goes nearly all the way back. Any further and I’d think it wouldn’t be comfortable.

Q:Which bassinets (prams?) are compatible with this stroller? I’m seeing some for $89, and others for almost $200…

A:

We have a Maxi Cosi AP infant car seat with a Baby Jogger car seat adapter for mounting bracket. It works well although I agree Maxi Cosi is on the more expensive side.

Q:Is it worth the extra cost to get the 2014 version? Found an older version for $80 cheaper, the only difference I found online was weight(4 lbs less)

A:

It’s kind of superficial, but I like that the 2014 version has the updated baby jogger logo. I think they also made the cargo area easier to access… which, if the 2014 that I have is “easier” to get into i would recommend it because it’s even still a little awkward.

Q:Does it tip backwards easily? I’ve read this is an issue with the Baby Jogger City Mini GT and was wondering whether this was the case with the Single

A:

The stroller does recommend to not put any diaper bags on the handle bar (including using those Mommy Hooks for purses). These jogger-styled strollers can tip backwards with heavy bags on the handle bars (with no child in the seat). But I have noticed with the “cult” of city mini parent’s at the malls and parks, I’ve never seen one tip even with all the bulky bags people have put on them.

Q:Is it the 2013 vision or 2014?

A:

Looking at the logo it is the 2014. Also, most 2013 models will be much cheaper (most retailers had them on clearance months ago)

Q:Is this the 2014 City Mini model?

A:

I believe it is bc it has the new city mini decal on the front.
